Our research interest focuses on algorithmics,
complexity theory and automata theory. Our research projects follow
mainly the following two directions:

Computer Science Education in Secondary Schools
Our goal is to support the introduction of computer science as a serious subject comparable to mathematics and natural sciences to Swiss high schools. This includes educating computer science teachers at ETH as well as directly at their schools, writing textbooks in a language corresponding to age, systematic training of interested pupils for the informatics olympiad, and public lectures.
